About the Course

In this course, we will gain a basic understanding of spirituality and its role at the end of life.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Understand the basics of spirituality
  • Be introduced to relevant tenets of major world religions
  • Articulate the benefits of meeting the spiritual needs of the dying

Aaron Twitchell is a board certified clinical chaplain and pastoral counselor and the program director at EOLCNY.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

Completion of this course counts as 1 continuing education hour for licensed New York social workers.

Course participation involves watching a recorded presentation and completing a quiz. You must receive a score of at least 80% to pass the course, but may retake the quiz as needed. A certificate of completion will automatically be issued after completion of the course.
